I feel slightly fitter now, cos ran 10 rounds ard the track with Kaizhi this morning, taking a total of 24 mins which is abt average 2 min 24 sec per round. Not bad I think, but in NS, we might be expected to run a greater distance within a shorter time. Shudders at the thought of what I'm expected to do during NS...
Completed Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire yesterday (why are the books getting lengthier each time). Looking forward for the movie in November also. I want to watch how they manage to cram 700+ pages worth of story into 2.5 hours of movie. Hopefully it will still retain the story sequence unlike the prev movie which I realised some parts were modified greatly. Reading from ebook isn't that good as I noticed quite a few typos and missing words which often made me so confused. The omission of words like "not" and "never" could change the meaning of a sentence totally to what does not make sense in the story. I think I will borrow the latest book from someone soon.
A week passes so quickly... Not long ago I was looking forward to last friday, then now I realised tmr is another friday already. However I DO NOT want to look forward to next friday though, cos...

End
Lessons are almost drawing to an end. After term 3, there will be no tutorials or lectures anymore, as most of the time will be allocated to study break or consultations. That also means I wun get to see my class as often anymore, which means life might become more boring...staying at home all day reading notes that has already been read thousand times before. Fortunately my class has this group of enthu dota players that can keep the spirit alive. So having more time to meet up and play with them online is not bad after all, though using our study break to play isn't very appropriate. >_> But who can resist the temptation? Hehe.
Glad that S paper lectures are also ending soon. Always dreaded having to stay back so late for s paper and I feel that some lectures are practically useless. Ponned my first s paper lesson last tues...hehe, just dun feel like staying back.
Ever since last Sunday, my parents have been appearing in news on tv for the Paya Lebar land acquisition incident. They are owners of one of the shops there (but they rent out the shop to other ppl). My mum has been interviewed several times, but I only watched one of them, which was friday's qian xian zhui zong. Never seen them so clearly on tv before...and my mum's voice sounds very very different thru the tv. Then while my mum is being interviewed, my dad was sleeping right in front of the camera...lol. Back to the issue, despite the owners' outcry abt moving out of the building within a month, they still have to do it after all. The only thing that the gov can give is more compensation and extending the relocation deadline, which most owners have finally agreed. Overall I think my parents still lost quite a sum of money.
So long din watch movie le...any nice movies to recommend? Anyway will anyone be going to watch The Maid? “你是几年,几月,几日,生。。。”*screams* Btw I what's so scary abt this sentence??

Lazy
I think I'm getting lazier (or sleepier) these few days. Have the tendency to lie on my bed whenever I'm doing anything else except at the com. My world now only revolves ard my bed and the com. Often ends up slping more than usual during weekends cos I would lie on my bed again after waking up. Shld we have an outing anytime soon? (before the prelims hopefully)
See, even I dun have anything to write abt school anymore. School is so boring now and the only thing keeping me alive is dota.
(Hero of the Day: Zues *I randomed him twice in the row lol*)

National Day
Yesterday was the national day celebration but I totally missed the combined parade in chinese high cos I was late :( There was a heavy downpour in the morning and heard from the car radio that some places had car accidents, fallen trees, etc. The traffic news included Bukit Timah road too, which is always very prone to jams whenever it rains. True enough, there was a massive jam in the area where I was caught in for almost 30 mins. Upon reaching sch, I saw rows of latecomers gathering at the central plaza, seemed like I'm not alone after all. There were many more later than me. We were made to stand on the spot doing nothing until the parade was over. In the meantime Lee was patrolling ard, asking ppl to keep their handphones and stuff. So we were supposed to stone as some sort of punishment...
Finally after abt 45 min of waiting and stoning (those latecomers who came earlier have to wait longer), we were released and asked to proceed to the hall for concert. Mong was cursing and swearing furiously as he had taken a taxi to sch instead of a bus, hoping to reach the sch earlier but in the end there is no diff. Heard the chinese high band gave a good performance during the parade but pity I weren't there to witness it.
The concert was nth special, just dances, quizzes and songs. Didn't pay much attention to it cos was chatting with other ppl. When it ended there was a shaving exercise where Mr Pang volunteered to shave his hair. Good opportunity for him to get rid of his lump of untidy hair. Some ppl stayed to watch him shave and took pics somemore...lame -__-
Most of the class had agreed to go watch Stealth at cine. 14 tickets were bought...not bad for our class outing. Cine was pretty filled with students, as expected...met some familiar faces too. The movie was not bad, but a bit dizzy after watching so many shaky plane scenes. After the movie all the scholars went back, leaving the 4 sgeans thinking of what to do next.
After some kaopei-ing from Mong, we decided to play pool. Saykai then left cos he didn't bring any clothes to change. Unfortunately all the pool centres we been to were fully booked. Soon, Kaizhi joined us and suggested to play Xbox at Dhoby Ghaut.
Didn't know there is a Xbox gaming centre located in the huge Dhoby Ghaut station. It's like a lan shop with TV sets instead of monitors, consoles instead of CPUs and sofas instead of computer chairs. Played a car-racing game then some fighting game, just for interactive purposes. (I would rather play a RPG on a console anytime...and if the right ppl were there, I would also rather play dota instead...hehe)
Didn't have the feeling of National Day today, yesterday was more like one...haha. Dun feel like watching NDP cos it was so boring...it's like the same every year. The national day theme songs are also getting more and more forgettable. The only theme songs that leave an impression on me are Home, Together and We Will Get There...the rest nobody sings them anymore, not even in schools.

Long hols
Almost half of the 5-day long National Day holidays is gone and I haven't done anything much except dota and homework...and Harry Potter (still reading diligently, currently at Book 3). Most of the time is wasted on lying on my bed half asleep, and I just found out that my bed attracts beetles (yuck!). This week has been quite bland, except the ongoing discussions abt dota everyday, that's why I dun feel like blogging.
Can look forward to tmr's N-day celebration cos there is going be a rare class outing...but dunno how many would actually attend. Maybe most of the class will change their minds last minute and decide to go out with their other friends instead, leaving only 5-6 ppl for the 'class outing'. I wonder if we can pon the concert and run off straight after the combined parade at chinese high. Possible if there are only a few ppl going. But I think some teachers will be stationed to keep a lookout for students who attempt to run out of the school gates, esp when it's so easy to zao during the period when the students are moving back to the college. Even if we could escape, what if Wong and Lee dun see us during the concert? Then cham liao.
Seems like we're going to finish all the tutorials already. Yay! I think doing revision exercises in sch is better than doing tutorials at home. Some tutorials are really time-consuming with so many repetitive qns.
Hmm...but that means Term 3 is coming to an end and prelims is near.

Me defaming?
Today Mrs Bad raised an unexpected qn to the class which stumped me: "Has anyone of you here written bad things abt me in the net?" Zuo zei xin xu...was appalled by such sudden qn coming from a teacher. Obviously I didn't admit in glee, but Youcheng gladly helped me raised my hand...fortunately in reply to her 2nd qn asking whether anyone owns a blog. After which she asked me if I've written anything bad abt her. Answered indirectly to her qn. Luckily she turned around to speak to the class just before I tell the truth :P
Mrs Bad warned us on talking bad things abt a person in the net, cos that person could easily sue us to court for defamation. (wah so serious meh) In that case I guess many students all over Singapore could be sued by their teachers liao. Actually I heard cases where a scholar was sued by some company for 'defaming' them in his blog. That's what happens when your blog has too many readers. As for me, I think I'll be quite safe since my blog doesnt have so many visitors. Furthermore comparing the way I talk bad abt ppl and stuff to other blogs where it reeks of vulgarities, my words are already considered very mild and harmless.
Of course I'll still continue talking bad abt things which annoy me. Wun be daunted by Mrs Bad mere speech.
Let's talk abt my new hp...still trying to get used to it, esp the typing of sms which is rather different from nokia's. Glad that the hp has so many new functions compared to my prev one, like storing mp3 and recording video (though I haven't got the chance to make use of them yet). Ya, and the bluetooth thingy too, so useful! Thanks to Saykai for teaching me some advance stuff abt my hp. Must make good use of my hp for the next 1/2 year before it lands onto other's hands.
Mrs Lee has officially taken away our early dismissal on fri, by slotting in her lessons on her own accord. Some of us were rather unhappy abt it but wat can we do? Say we need to go home early to sleep and play? This is the last term that I can ever enjoy the early dismissal on fri already. First 2 terms were taken by band pracs...and now Mrs Lee...*sobz* I still want to go to the 'Tian tang'!
Looking forward to next week...the National Day holidays! Heard there will be a class outing to kbox on the celebration day too!
