Results

Newspaper reports confirmed that the MRT suicide clips are real. SMRT has acknowledged it. The police is now investigating the leakage.

To be on safe side, I better not provide anymore active links to the video here...sry to those curious ones. =p

A lvl results confirmed to be released on 2 March this Friday! Good luck to everyone taking results! Esp Huifang! Zhu Ni Hao Yun!

And to think I haven't decided whether to change my course, haiz. How???

Was reminiscing the result day last year when I saw something on TV, brings back some memories. =)

The very last time our batch sat in the auditorium together.

Our top scorers: Tang Mingxi, Koh Chan Swee, Ng Sheng Rong......

......Zhang Rui, Ivan Chua

While the others were waiting anxiously for A lvl results, I was waiting for my JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) results I took last Dec. And it finally came today! Very satisfied with my results ^_^: 96/100 for Writing/Vocab, 71/100 for Listening (wow I actually passed this section, tot I was dead meat) and 196/200 for Grammar/Reading, which sums up to 363/400 overall, which equates to more than 90%! Haha, damn proud of myself lah.

A Stressful Singapore

Apparently there is a leak of CCTV footages showing what actually happened on the MRT platforms during 2 of the track suicides last year:

Yishun MRT, last December 5th:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nV5VTkhdNg

What the person did was so unexpected...and the passengers were frightened away by the traumatising sight. It took me quite a few seconds to realise where the 'body' came from.

Admiralty MRT, last December 2nd (just 3 days before the Yishun one):
http://www.metacafe.com/watch/446565/admiralty_mrt_suicide/

No gore...but can be quite shocking for some.

After watching these clips...makes me wonder if Singapore is really a stressful place to live in, that ppl have to resort to such methods to gain sympathy and donations, haiz...

Bye CNY

CNY this year seems to pass rather quickly, even though I had 5 days of break from work. So scary to find myself back in the office much sooner than expected lol. This CNY feels plain bland, or is it just me?

Watched Protege with parents yesterday, the 2nd movie in 4 days. Haha, my parents very enthu hor? Even asked me to book tickets for them, hence I decided to tag along cos I heard the reviews are good. (mostly 4/5) Quite informative with regards to the drug industry, and explains why ppl take drugs =(. Some gruesome scenes which makes me shudder. Personally I feel the bad guys were arrested too easily, with no pursuit in action, in other words the good ending came too abruptly. However the last scene might leave a deep impression on most ppl...

It has been a long long time since I followed a Taiwanese idol drama, the last being Meteor Garden in 2002. No prize on guessing what I'm watching now...Hanazakarino Kimitachihe, or Hana Kimi for short. These 2 dramas share lots of similarities rite, haha. I just like watching school romance dramas ^_^, intro some other good ones to me can?

But really hate Mediacorp cutting scenes from the drama, eg. JJ being kissed by the doctor. Liddat also want to cut. -___-

Oh ya, the blog by Fann's mother in Just Follow Law indeed exists! OMG! Look at the date the entry is created! Jack Neo very the smart hor...

Just follow lor

Watched 'Just Follow Law' with my parents just now. They are fans of Jack Neo movies...me a bit, haha. Have always loved his jokes =p. They want to watch tonight then I just follow lor.

The cinema lobby is damn crowded...shows that ppl really have nothing to do at night, after all the pai-nians during the day. Luckily I booked tickets online, and had to cut the long queue in order to collect the tix. Felt so paiseh but still had to do it, since there were no other counters available. CCK cinema is so small that we had to wait for the previous movie to end and ppl to leave before we could occupy the theatre. -__-

Not bad, the movie was quite funny, doesn't take long to realise we are actually laughing at our own government. All the black & white and cover own backside thingy...so so true. Oh ya, pushing the responsibility...authorities are sooo good in doing that =P.

One more point to mention, Fann performance is superb in this movie. Was very very amazed/shocked/appalled that Fann actually DID acts which spoilt her elegant image; things that a woman will never do. (eg. molest herself) Really professional. I applaud her courage... As for Gurmit...we are used to him acting like this, aren't we ? Lol.

A lvl results are releasing soon (rumoured 2nd March) which means I have to make my decision of changing course fast, as well as to prepare my scholarship application. Read up a bit on scholarships and discovered some disappointing facts abt it. (I'm easily influenced by others' opinions) Now I'm slightly disillusioned =(. Dunno if I shld continue to apply. Somehow I feel that I'm not of scholarship material, fared rather badly for last year's interviews. Probably not tuned to realities of the working world, still sheltered by the realms of the education system... My replies were so naive lol.

Hope my application will not be a waste of time, neither be a regret for the next 8 years or so. Any successful scholarship applicants willing to share experiences? I know getting a scholarship is not an easy task, but since almost everyone around is trying, I shall...

...JUST FOLLOW LOR!

My Valentine

I think I'm officially a clerk now (though temporary) cos I dun feel guilty 'twang-ing' in front of Boss at the office. It's so sheltered from all the dirt and oil outside haha. However being a clerk is not really as 'senang' as one thinks, esp trying to edit info from a user-unfriendly program with a spoilt mouse =(, along with pressure given by Boss. =((((((

After 3 consecutive visits to the medical centre every week, I convinced that my condition will not recover anytime soon. Wun be doing mechanical work for at least quite some time...

The workshop welcomes newbirds who are just posted in. Yay, no longer the lowest anymore. ^_^ Time to bully ppl hehe.

Valentine's Day...never found a significance for this day in my past 19 years of life. (hope to find one soon) Is that why they allocate Friendship Day on this very same day?

I guess my valentine would be this big 'thing' right in front of me now...which is probably the case for most lonely ppl as well.

Revocate?

Someone pls cast Esuna on me. =(

My rashes is not showing any signs of recovery. Now almost everyone in the workshop knows abt it and is discussing whether I shld become a workshop clerk instead. Being a mech is much better than a clerk in the workshop as mechs have more freedom and flexibility to complete their job whereas the clerk is often under scrutiny of the boss and have to cope with urgent admin matters. To sum it up, clerk is more stressful than mech...

I hope I wun be revocated to some other camps or units...dun feel like shifting to a new environment anymore. My current work life is alr good enough, with nice colleagues and freedom. =p

Just hope a miracle will occur. =)

O lvl results will be released on 9 Feb, which is this Friday! Haha, so early. I wonder when will A lvl results be released...23 Feb? (last year was 1 March) Hmm, why am I pondering so much abt something none of my business...lol.

What's this...x_x:

So many ppl(deities) trying to interfere with the meeting of Niu Lang and Zhi Nu lol.

World of Warcraft...shld I play or not? Meddling with the trial version now...

Promoted!

Yay, finally promoted to lance corporal. $40 more into my account every month. =) Din expect to be promoted that fast. My seniors who have been in NS for more than 1 year is promoted at the same time to lcp, so sad lol.

I think the lcp rank is rather ugly, dun feel like sewing it to my uniforms...

From Jack Neo's new talk show: 小孩不笨 谁才笨?

Jack (to a parent): 请用 'lame' 来造句.
Parent: *some silly sentence*
Group of teenagers: *shakes head frantically and giggles*

What an interesting show lol.

Guo Mei Mei appears again for her new song abt the festive season. =p
