A 'Be-earlied' Treat!

First of all thanks very much to YF for organising the treat! Haven't eaten such great dim sum for a long time. I dun usually get full easily eating those kind of small stuff , wished I could order more haha :p Too bad the last order came too quickly. Was down with a bit of flu, so could not enjoy the food 100%.

Once again we went to test out our skills in Photohunt. Not bad lah, with ZH around this time. Could have scored more for the last game...haiz. The memory game had the most potential score, since we had extra ppl to memorise compared to last time, but it seemed we always spot the same pairs haha. Next time when got 4 ppl lets go play again !

Any blockbuster coming soon? Dun have the urge to watch any movies recently leh.

Next time can organise some outdoor activities? A bit tired of strolling at the same shopping centres every time...

I recommend watching Metamorphosis (Po Jian Er Chu), nice action show! Poor Wanrou.

Mooncake Festival

Ate quite a few of the flat fish-patterned mooncakes provided by the cookhouse today. IMO it tastes better than the traditional ones. Looking forward to eating some snow-skin ones...

Glad to see there are still so many kids playing with candles and sparkles in the playground, but nobody seems to care abt carrying laterns anymore haha.

An interesting episode of Shoot (You Hua Zhi Shuo) below:

Discussion on blogging haha. Both Steven Lim and Xiaxue are invited to the show too! Look at their replies and reactions lol.

Anyone received any letter from NLB? They sent me a letter stating overdue fines incurred as far back as year 2000! -______- The worst is I've never seen those titles before! Or maybe I've forgotten that I borrowed those books totally...

Staying In

It has been a week since I started staying in camp. The feeling is terrible knowing that I have to report back to camp by 2359hrs whenever I book out after work. Though I only have abt 4 hours to spend at home each night, it's fortunate that I get to book out everyday. After all there is really nothing to do after office hours. Might as well choose to go home rather than rot in camp.

My bunk is still as dusty and messy as it was few weeks ago. Seems like nobody bothered to clean up lol. Due to the poor location of the room, it gets extremely hot during the day as the sunlight shines directly into the room zzz. Had to make our own blanket curtain.

The pillow is hard and bedsheet is dirty. Will wake up in the middle of the night every now and then, sometimes itching all over or drenched with sweat...>_<

Good thing is there is a TV to watch, bad thing is the reception is poor. Will get dizzy when if watched for long. Nobody watches the TV anyway. Switched on for fun only.

Fieldpack check sux.

Crunchyroll!

Sounds yummy right? Haha, it's not a food lah, it's a website similar to youtube where you can view lots of videos (and I really mean LOTS), most of which can't be easily found in youtube!

Youtube usually provides short video clips uploaded by users but crunchyroll has drama episodes (Taiwan, HK, Japanese, Korean and even SG dramas!). Those who missed the shows during their actual broadcast can view them comfortably in crunchyroll haha!

Besides dramas, crunchyroll also has Taiwan variety shows, eg the most popular talent search competition Chao Ji Xing Guang Da Dao which I'm currently watching hehe. Guess x3, Kang Xi Lai Le, blah blah whatever you name.

What's more, it has movies too! LOL. Go check it out! Watched several Stephen Chow movies alr haha. (Pssst. There is I Not Stupid Too available too, can go watch if you haven't done so last year...)

I strongly encourage everyone to go sign up crunchyroll now. (yeah you need to sign in to watch but it's FREE!) You definitely wun regret it! Utilise this opportunity before (touch wood) the videos get removed. (Got a feeling this will not last very long) Lots of crunchyroll viewers seem to be very satisfied with it. =)

Looks like staying at home isn't that boring anymore!

One more thing: Remember the GROW game where you put objects in a certain order and it will grow? Here is a new one: Grow Island! Have fun! (Pls be patient for it to load =p)

Japanese Class Outing!

Amazing...

Never thought that the friendship between my Bunka classmates could progress till an outing with our teacher. =)

Feels really really weird to attend an outing with my BROTHER lol. He is part of the class also mah.

Wanted to converse in Japanese to my teacher but (once again) failed terribly hence gave up and spoke English instead. =p Glad that she was so enthu in such students' outing.

Went to Partyworld cos most of us wanted to listen to Sensei sing Chinese songs, particularly Jay Chou's An Jing haha. (She's a big fan of Jay) As expected, she sang really well! Sugoi ne!

After that followed a flux of Jay songs...machiam Jay Chou concert lol.

Tried to sing 2 Japanese songs but one of them was too high and another too low lol. Wanted to pick a fast song but haven't practised much on it yet...

Another weird thing: Singing in the presence of my bro... sooooooo weird, but then I still sang normally lah, din hold back anything. I noticed he could sing pretty well too, if he had practised on the lyrics. =p Seriously, first time I heard him sing. I wonder if that was the first time he heard me sing as well......

Rather significant outing in every way. Totally enjoyed myself too. =) No pics unfortunately.

Silkroad

Pretty slack week. Had morning run at Labrador Park on Wed and was dismissed at 10am+. Then had morning run (more like walk) at Paya Lebar Air Base for RSAF Day on Fri and went off at 10am+. 2 free half days just like that, those who take leave on those days a bit wasted lol.

Quite a few of my friends in camp are playing Silkroad Online so I joined in too. Even my PC is playing haha. This game looks similar to WoW, in terms of graphics and interface. Interesting at the start when friends pumped me when cash and exp but now that I have to go solo, it becomes a bit boring as I have to spend hours of grinding just to level up once. Feel like asking my friends for more $$$, so de chun jin chi right, haha...

So far the only MMORPG that got me really addicted and playing is Maple Story haha. The rest can't seem to grab my interest for long. For most MMO my levels are very far from that of my friends so can't party them, hence have to solo most of the time which makes it boring haiz. Still looking for a MMO which I can enjoy with a party of similar standards.
