本州物語 第13章ーお台場

Sunset in Odaiba. Pretty

As darkness falls, the boats light up in different colours.

Last time I took a picture of this during the day. The night view is beautiful too!

This Venetian mall never fails to make me impressed by its aqua interior.

What's with the obsession with hybrid characters?!

Even emoticons can become a novelty item... (‘・w・’)

Totoro notebook!!

Sometimes I wonder what the designers of such plushies are thinking...

Stop making food into stuffed toys lol.

Giant plushies!!

The biggest Totoro plushie I've ever seen! The price is also O_O!!!! 1500 SGD...

Japan is a toy paradise indeed. Even jigsaw puzzles cost pretty cheap here. They are exorbitant in SG...

LOLOLOLOL

*slaps forehead*

An organization of sushi! The management (in black suits) at the top, supported by the employees at the bottom.

Hyper-sized portions to tempt your palate.

This reminds me of the states of USA...

Why they like to 'cutify' everything...

I still wanna sleep tonight...

Came across a huge game arcade with cool interactive machines. Why SG arcades don't have this =(

Interesting game which tests your range of vision. You look at the middle and press whichever button that lights up.

Practice your tennis skills here!

Why does everyone want to copy 白い恋人? Where has the creativity gone to?

Looks nice but taste so-so only

Ready...Get set...Sprint!

Love Odaiba. No matter indoors or outdoors.

Can you believe this is taken at the airport? So cool!

本州物語 第12章-箱根

厚水长流

Romance Train to Hakone - more expensive than normal trains. From the outside I can't see how much different an experience it can provide.

'Hand Bath'. Perfect for a cold windy day.

Took the ropeway up to the observatory point.

Behold the greenery.

Passed by a site which looks like a sulfur mine. Saw heaps of yellowish matter.

天使即将降临吗?
(As I couldn't look at the sun directly, it took a few tries before I could capture the entire ring)

How cute!! (I'm referring to that black egg only sorry...)

The purpose of taking this photo is not the background scenery but the cute little dog at the foreground. =p

把一个人的温暖 转移到另一个的胸膛
让上次犯的错反省出梦想
每个人都是这样 享受过提心吊胆
才拒绝做爱情代罪的羔羊
(Sorry I can't sing the Cantonese version...)

Oh there is a lake in the middle too =)

Lazy to join the curious crowd up there to watch the geysers. Seen a lot of these in Hokkaido and Kyushu.

Another shot of the beautiful mountains. Is that a golf course at the bottom? XD

Mount Fuji is just tooo beautiful. Can't help snapping away at it. The weather was pretty good too, with little cloud cover.

Finished this nose-watering bowl of 地狱 ramen, with some pauses to rest my tongue and some cups of chilled water. This ramen really lives up to its name - black noodles and devilish red broth. Indeed, the spiciest food I've ever eaten in my life. Fortunately my stomach was tough enough not to suffer from any aftermath =p

Egg-flavoured ice-cream! After eating the 地狱 ramen, this is like raising us to 天堂.

Really couldn't resist the urge to take pictures of this spectacle. Furthermore the most photos didn't turn out very well due to lighting problems. After some experiment with camera settings, I managed to produce this shot which I thought was pretty balanced =)

Took the ropeway down again to the lake...

...where ships are waiting for Jack Sparrow.

This is the 3rd cruise we took in this trip haha! Cruising is so fun! (No Star Cruise anymore please)

The one in Osaka was an explorer's ship. This one is a pirate's ship!

When our ship set sail, the passengers couldn't stop waving to the crewman at this opposite ship (can't see clearly in this picture as his costume blends with the ship). That crewman also waved to us excitedly all the way until he was out of sight hahaha.

Not extremely windy. Just right to enjoy the soothing breeze =)

Another pirate ship coming! Prepare the cannons!!!

Sayonara Mount Fuji =) Hope we get to meet again.
