| Visited Studio Ghibli - Home of Totoro, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Ponyo, etc. Tickets have to be pre-bought and they usually sell out fast. Luckily we were able to get tickets just on the day before. =) |

| Rice bowls in Japan are extremely delicious! They are usually served in fast food restaurants such as Yoshinoya. Cheap and good. Not only the meat toppings, the rice underneath added with some special sauce also tastes heavenly. Can't wait to eat them again! |

| It looks like a normal Japanese menu until I noticed there are Chinese translations as well. Indeed, there are a lot of Chinese in Tokyo. Quite a number of shop assistants in fast food restaurants and convenient stores are Chinese too. Will never forget the experience with one of them... |

| Eeek! What's this huge spider?! It's actually publicity for a museum exhibition which we also visited along with the observation deck. Honestly I find that exhibition pretty morbid and disturbing. |

| Our hotel's reception is located on the 5th floor and the elevator does not operate beyond 9pm, so guests have to use the stairs if they return late at night. The hotel owner is sooo considerate to place chairs and decorations along the stairwell for exhausted guests to rest their feet halfway through the ascend. The sign reads: "To our hotel guests: This is the 3rd floor. The front desk is at the 5th floor. For those who are tired, please take a rest here." |

| Got to know this auntie from Malaysia. She works in the hotel that we stayed. Talking to her felt very much like being back in SG. And she has a very unique accent when she speaks Japanese - imagine a mix between Japanese and Singlish. >_< Before we left she gave us a treat at this restaurant she recommended. She also requested me to help her fill up her marriage application form...I wonder how she is doing now... |
